  • From our initial visits many years ago to Toberua with four very young children to our most recent visit when our youngest son now 25 was married on the island in the presence of our four grandchildren our family have always enjoyed the hospitality and friendliness of all the staff there.

    Having seen three owners and many new staff over the time of our various visits Toberua always seems to rise to new heights - whether it be updates to the accommodation or the dinner menu the subtle changes are always in the guests interests.

    Toberua is a very special place to be enjoyed by all its guests and we always look forward to our return because we know exactly what to expect - relaxation, great food, fantastic staff and friendly service.

  • I have just returned from a 7 day stay at Toberua Island Resort and just wanted to let you know what a fabulous holiday we had.  We had a wonderful time and found the staff and service to be exceptional. It truly was a home away from home and quite definitely the most relaxing holiday my husband and I have had - and we have done a fair bit of travelling within the South Pacific, as well as throughout the world!

    Every member of the staff went beyond the call of duty to make us feel welcome and cared for - one day I came home to find all my clothes had been neatly folded! That is above and beyond in my book! The meals were superb - all of them!  I have suggested to Mali that he write the Toberua Island Cookbook for people like me to buy and take home and try to recreate the experience!  And of course, the Toberua Serenaders - such heart! A CD would be great!

  • The most beautiful little island!

    We spent 6 nights at Toberua Island and had the most wonderful time.

    The food is excellent, a superb winelist and good cocktails combined with outstanding and friendly service made our stay at Toberua a once in a lifetime experience. Great activities among others snorkelling and diving.

    We'll recommend a stay at Toberua to everybody who wants to have a true Fiji holiday - can't wait to come back!...

  • We have now experienced 3 idyllic trips to Toberua Island - a family holiday, romantic anniversary and a fabulous Fijian Xmas and New Year.

    This is a gorgeous private island resort, made unique by the friendly Fijian staff, superb Fijian cuisine and a perfect balance of being able to do as much or as little as you like.

    Compared to our other Fijian holidays, this is simply the best, we have never felt so relaxed and well looked after.

    This place is paradise and we will be back very soon

  • When we arrived at the Island it was late, we were tired and hungry but what we were about to experience would deliver us straight into honeymoon paradise.

    Pulling up at the dock my eyes filled with tears as I could see the beautiful glow of the lit pathways and hear the sounds of guitars and serenading voices which were carried through the warm air to greet us. We were guided to our room and enjoyed a gorgeous berry and coconut cream mocktail. We then enjoyed a private dinner where beautiful, live music continued playing.

    Our experience at Toberua Island was incredible and I hope to return again in the future.
